SQUATTING FOR TOILETS IN YOUR CITY NAME HERE:
CELEBRATING WORLD TOILET DAY BY SQUATTING IN PUBLIC

November 19 is World Toilet Day. All across the world, sanitation advocates will be raising awareness for the world's 2.5 billion people without sanitation by squatting for one minute in public places. It's called The Big Squat. And our local Squat Squad will be squatting at LOCATION at TIME.

Why squatting? Because that's what people do when they don't have proper sanitation. The Big Squat will put the spotlight on the fact that so many people in the world don't have the dignity and convenience that most people take for granted - and that diarrheal diseases kill five times as many children in the developing world as does HIV/AIDS.

The world is facing a sanitation crisis. But many people are too shy to talk about sanitation, even though it's vital for human health and contributes significantly to dignity and social development.

There's no doubt that the sight of a huge number of people squatting in a public place will draw attention. We invite your organization to join us.
