Participate in the Big Squat in four easy steps.

Step 1: Decide where to Squat. It could be your office, your street, or your school. The more people who see you, the more awareness you raise! Consider malls, office lobbies, theaters, community centers, markets, parks, subway stations, and more! (And you can always do more than one squat!)

Step 2: Find a Squat Squad or create your own. The simplest way to organize a Squat Squad is to use Facebook's events application. This also makes it easier for people in your area to find your Squad.

For inspiration, check out the Singapore Big Squat event page. Or you can use evite or simply send out emails. Not sure what to say? View our sample email.

Step 3: Prepare your Big Squat material. There's no doubt everyone will notice your Squat Squad. Make sure you have a plan to communicate to your audience. We suggest passing out flyers, but you can be creative: throw a concert! Host a photo exhibit! Put on a play!

Step 4: On November 19, go and squat! Have fun, spread the word, and make sure you take lots of pictures. Make sure you add your pictures to our Flickr group or email them to us!
